Our Promise
The Śauca Promise
We make clothes with the intention that they last.
Not simply in their stitching or their cloth — though we attend carefully to both — but in the way they fit into a life. A Śauca garment is not made to be worn for a season and set aside. It is made to be worn, washed, softened, and returned to again and again. To become, over time, something that feels like your own.
The fabric
Every fabric we choose is chosen for what it becomes, not just what it is.
Our 60 Lea Heritage Irish Linen is sourced from mills where the craft of linen weaving has been passed through generations. The higher Lea count makes for a finer, more precisely spun yarn — lighter against the skin, smoother to the touch. But linen is also a living fabric. It breathes. It softens with every wash. It deepens in colour with continued wear. A linen shirt bought today will look better in two years than it does now.
Our premium Giza cotton carries the same logic. Dense, long-staple, grown in the Nile Delta — it holds its shape, resists pilling, and grows more beautiful with age.
We will never compromise on cloth. It is where every Śauca garment begins.
The making
Each garment is cut and assembled by hand at our atelier. We do not rush this.
A single piece takes between eight and twelve hours of skilled handcraft — from the first cut of the pattern to the last pressed seam. Every collar point, every pocket placement, every button is considered for both proportion and function. We believe the interior of a garment matters as much as the exterior. That the seams you never see should be finished as carefully as those you do.
This attention is not incidental. It is what makes the difference between a garment that lasts and one that doesn’t.
The fit, over time
We understand that bodies change. A garment bought at one point in your life may need to be adjusted at another. We think that is entirely natural, and we have built our promise around it.
For every Śauca piece, we offer up to two complimentary fit adjustments — whether that means taking in a waist, letting out a seam, or shortening a hem. The cost of the service and shipping is on us. We ask only that you reach out, and we will take care of the rest.
This is not a return policy. It is a commitment to the idea that a garment should adapt with you, not be replaced because of you.
