Our Approach

Made with care, made to last

At Śauca, sustainability begins with a simple belief: a garment you love and wear for years is the most beautiful choice of all. Every piece is cut, sewn and finished by hand in our Bengaluru atelier, and every material is chosen with the same care, from the fabric down to the thread.

The fabric

We work with 60 Lea Irish linen, Giza cotton and Japanese Bemberg, natural fibres chosen to last for years and to grow softer with every wear.

The details

Care continues in the parts you may never see.

Plant-based buttons

Our Corozo buttons are made from the tagua nut, a natural material grown from the seed of a palm.

Thread

We sew with cotton thread of the highest quality, alongside recycled polyester thread for the seams that need extra strength.

Interlinings

The interlinings that give our collars, cuffs and plackets their quiet structure are made with recycled polyester fusing.

Saved for a second life

Every small piece from our cutting table is saved with care, gathered for a second life as soft, comfortable beds for dogs.

In limited quantities

Every Śauca piece is cut, sewn and finished by hand in our atelier, in small, considered runs. Making in limited quantities lets each garment receive the time and attention it deserves.

Two alterations, with our compliments

As your body changes, your garments adapt with it, so they keep their place in your wardrobe for years to come.
